Buying Resale in San Diego Keeps Families in the Green

Hello,

I became familiar w/your services after watching San Diego Living. In the recent segment, I recall you mentioning a company/service that purchases used/new office equipment and/or supplies. Can you provide me with this information? I tried googling consignment/resale shops for office supplies and couldn't find anything. Thank you for your help. I love your website and will use it often.

Regards,

J. Hamilton

Thanks, J. Hamilton. I emailed you some cool links to check out! ~ SDBM

On Monday, June 5, I appeared on San Diego Living, this time to share that there are many locations to shop for resale in San Diego that offer great new to gently-used merchandise. You can sell and/or buy gently used kids stuff, furniture, sporting gear and much, much more. Get cash back or receive store credit - savings up to 70%.

Kids' Items: Consider purchasing games (make sure all pieces are in-tact), designer outfits, classic children's books, videos, music, staple clothing (jeans, jackets). A few of my fave stores are Baby-Go-Round in SD , Once Upon a Child in Oceanside, La Costa Kids and Plato's Closet (for teens) in Escondido. Avoid buying used car seats, cribs, matresses and safety equipment. Also, check out the bi-annual Parent Connection Swap meet in San Diego - a must for new to gently-used baby and toddler items!

Furniture, Household Goods: If you are sending your kid off to college or on tight, tight budget consider freecycle, backpage.com or Craig's List! Ask for photos and details. You will be amazed at what quality merchandise you can find, especially from owners who need to move out and do not want to hastle with storing or transporting their furniture! For office items check out Office Again in San Diego for gently used, investment-quality real wood furniture. Into designer look? Check out Consignment Classics in Encinitas, where you will find over 40,000 square feet of all kinds of furniture and designer furnishings. Consider yourself a DIYer? Also, maybe visit REstore, the Habitat for Humanity's "building materials thrift store" in Mission Valley.

Sports and Camping Gear: Play it Again Sports is great for new to genty-used sports and camping gear as well as REI, where you can find quarterly "used gear sales," which includes camping, hiking, cycling gear and more!

Again, you can find high-end, quality merchandise in San Diego that I guarantee you will not scream out "used!".

Check out some great links here!
