I just challenged my friend Julia of Bargain Babe to a fashion showdown. Once we got to chatting, we thought it would be even better if we were to invite all our readers to join in on the fun

So are we San Diegans going to show LA what we got? I know the slight advantage LA peeps have I am from there; still, I am convinced we can blow LA away all in fun, of course Join in, mamas, ladies, gentleman.we need you

Here are the rules for the contestants:

1. Spend no more than $50 feel free to use shoes that you already have.

2. Shop wherever you please; thrift stores, outlets, off-price chains are all good options.

3. Take two weeks to put together a WINNER outfit winner to be determined by readers.

4. Submit a jpeg photo attachement to Contest@SanDiegoBargainMama.com of your final outfit by Sept. 1, 2009 and include in the email where you bought each item and what you paid for it.

5. Check for the posted photos on Sept. 2 Sept.17 new date and be sure to return to vote for your favorite outfit
