Valentine's Day Giveaway from Earth Cafe Living Foods, Inc.
I discovered Earth Cafe Living Foods, Inc. on Twitter and every time their avatar passed my stream, my curiousity grew as to what gluten free/raw/vegan cheesecake tastes like (all new to me, honestly). The nice folks behind the business sent over complimentary samples of a variety of their cakes for the SDBM :) family and we had a taste-testing party, passing around the dinner table a variety of flavors. Being a lover of all things sugary and one who appreciates traditional desserts, I braced myself (in uncertainty), but was pleased with what we found: a very tasty, healthful dessert alternative (see giveaway below)! Earth Cafe makes 11 flavors of cakes. Their desserts contain no refined sugars (they use agave nectar), no harmful oils or fats, wheat-free, gluten-free, and dairy-free. They are handmade with organic ingredients, and have no cholesterol. The Earth Cafe has their cheesecakes available in 15 states that range as far west as Hawaii and as far east as the East Coast. While their cakes are sold mainly in Natural Food Markets and Co-ops, they also work closely with Whole Foods Market. BTW: My fave is their Cali Style Lemon Cheesecake! Oh, and to address why they call it "cheesecake" when it is dairy-free...because it is as close as you will get, is my thought!. In the spirit of Valentine's Day how would you like to have shipped to you or your sweetheart (at no charge) either a Strawberry Fields Forever, a Cherry Dream, or Rockin' Raspberry Cheesecake? Simply leave a comment below and we will choose at random and post two winners to be announced on Tues., Feb. 10! Posted Feb 5, 2010 2:45 AM.CommentsCreate a New User today, its FREE!

I'm vegan but have only had vegan cheesecake a handful of times (both times it was AMAZING though), I'd love to try the Cherry Dream! If I liked this, it would be totally something I would buy again. Thanks so much for the chance to win!

Thank you for being here! It's great to find a site for San Diegans. I'd love some healthy cheesecake, too. Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello! My name is Matt. I am a stay at home dad. I've been looking around online for Valentine's giveaways. My wife is active duty military and the love of my life. I feel really bad that I am unable to buy her anything, since she is the money maker in our family. I came across your giveaway and figured I would give it a shot. My wife LOVES cheesecake.....so do I. =) If we are lucky enough to win...thank you so much. It would be a great surprise for her. Either way...win or not....I wish everyone a happy Valentines Day. =)

I LOVE cheesecake. Problem is, dairy aggravates my rosacea (big time!) But, I just can't stay away. I would love to try a dairy free alternative that satisfies my cheesecake dreams LOL!
