“I Pledge”: A Kids for Peace Documentary Comes to La Paloma Theater
My kids’ school has been fortunate to have Kids for Peace spread their love and admirable expressions/messages, which I know resonate with many others, too. It is my pleasure to share with you an awesome Kids for Peace event coming up in Encinitas. A special thanks to a special colleague and friend of mine, Stacey Crummie, founder of Positively Kids, for sharing with me the details of Kids for Peace red carpet event!
Kids for Peace, a global nonprofit organization will present the RED CARPET Premiere of “I PLEDGE: A Kids for Peace Documentary.” This film was brilliantly created by Natalie Weldon, a high school Kids for Peace intern. The story follows three Kids for Peace members of different backgrounds on their journey of discovery and empowerment. In recognizing that there is bullying, intolerance, violence, apathy and fear in their world, the three students join with other Kids for Peace members across the nation to create positive change. Fueled by their Peace Pledge, the kids travel from their homes to their schools to Washington DC and back. Their message of kindness, love, unity and respect is sure to uplift and inspire all!!
