Celebrity Moms Take On The London Olympics

The 2012 Summer Olympics are just about here, and celebrity moms are flying across the pond to take in the action!

Two-time gold medalist Kerri Walsh and her family hope to spike gold with partner Misty May in the Beach Volleyball competition. Kerri is mom to 2-year-old, Joey, and 1-year-old, Sundance.

Soccer superstar Christie Rampone will represent the U.S. on the pitch for the fourth time! Team captain and mom of two will have her family in London with her.

Other moms making the trek include analysts, Shannon Miller, 7-time Olympic medalist in gymnastics, Summer Sanders, 2-time gold medalist in swimming in Barcelona and Brandi Chastain, World Cup Champion soccer player.  All these former world-class athletes will help broadcast the games to the world.

But athletes aren’t the only ones enjoying the games. Mom-to-be and TV personality, Giuliana Rancic will broadcast from London and mother-of-four, Nicole Kidman plans to take in as many events as possible.

Looks like Olympic fever is in full bloom, and whether you’re an Olympian, Oscar winner, TV star or stay-at-home mom, you are sure to be inspired by the amazing athletes competing for Olympic gold in London.
