Del Mar Racing Season Means FREE Concerts!

The Del Mar Horse Racing Season is in full swing!  The Del Mar racetrack is another place for family fun in the summer.  One of my favorite things to at the Del Mar Fairgrounds (with or without the kids) take advantage of it their FREE summer concerts!  In 1994 Del Mar says they “brought the funk to Fridays” with FREE concerts.Their Summer Concert Series has attracted the likes of Cake, Weezer, ZZ Top, Billy Idol, Devo, Ziggy Marley, Matisyahu, Jason Mraz and more! 18 years and 128 concerts later, they remain a very popular attraction.  I can’t wait!

Please note: Del Mar’s concerts are FREE with racetrack admission purchased prior to the last race, an exceptional value as admission starts at just $3 for Diamond Club members (free to sign up) and $6 without Diamond Club membership. Admission for concert-goers entering after the final race is $20.
