Veteran’s Day Weekend and U.S. National Parks Free Days

Road Trip to Yosemite – Photo by Stacey Ross

When was the last time you or your family visited a national park?  On special occasions, the National Park Service waives entrance fees.  Veteran’s Day weekend is one of those times in 2012 offering this special.

Take advantage of free admission to our greatest natural treasures!

Tips:

You can purchase a pass for $80 (might have changed) or suggest that seniors ask about specials.

264 of the 398 national parks NEVER charge an entrance fee. Plan Your Visit!   The 2012 fee free National Parks days apply to entrance fees, commercial tour fees and transportation entrance fees only.
