Veteran’s Day Freebies and Discounts

Happy Veteran’s Day to those who serve or served our country and to their families, as well. This weekend will be a day for honoring armed service veterans.

• California Pizza Kitchen: Free pizza and nonalcoholic drink when you dine in [11/11 - 11/12 only]. You get to pick any pizza on the menu, which is a great deal.
• Carrows Restaurant: Free slice of pie with any purchase [11/11 only].
• Chili’s Restaurant: free meal: Visit Chili’s to get your Veterans Day free meal if you are a veteran or on active military duty [11/11 only].

• Denny’s Veterans Day All You Can Eat Pancakes- all you can eat pancakes:  Stop by Denny’s and all active, non-active, and retired military personnel can get free all you can eat pancakes from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. [11/11 only].
• Einstein Bros. Bagels: Free classic or signature bagel [11/11 only].
• Hooters: 10 free boneless wings with the purchase of a drink [11/11 only].
• Olive Garden: Free entree from a special list of five [11/11 only].
• On The Border: Free entree coupon worth up to $10.  The coupon is valid Nov. 12 through 30.
• Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion appetizer and nonalcoholic drink [11/11 - 11/12 only] plus 10 percent off your entire check [11/13 - 12/31].
• Red Lobster: Free appetizer from a special list of 10 [11/11 only]. There’s no link to this deal, but I was informed about it directly by Darden Restaurants.
• Sizzler: Free lunch until 4 p.m. [11/12 only].
• T.G.I. Friday’s Veterans Day Free Lunch: Free lunch for all veterans  from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at participating locations. Be sure to contact your local T.G.I Friday’s for details.  Choose any item off the lunch menu for free.   [11/12 only]. 

Shop:

Saks Fifth Avenue’s Off 5th: 25 to 50 percent off clothing and shoes for the whole family plus handbags, jewelry, and other accessories during the Veterans Day Sale in stores [11/7 - 11/13]. Off 5th is Saks Fifth Avenue’s offline discount chain, but it’s still a good place to find designer garb at deep discounts if they have locations near you.
