Rippledink’s Repertory kicked off the 2013 season for San Diego Junior Theatre. Running through January 20, it consists of three shows running concurrently. The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (abridged), Go, Dog. Go! and The Stinky Cheese Man are showing at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park. An irreverent, fast-paced romp through all thirty-seven of the Bard’s plays in less than ninety minutes, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was London’s longest-running comedy and is now educating and entertaining young and young-at-heart alike. P.D. Eastman’s classic children’s book, Go, Dog. Go!, comes to life on stage in an exploration of movement, color and space. The dogs delve into life with gusto, creating a visual feast for the audience. The Stinky Cheese Man is a topsy-turvy, delightful tour through some of the most famous fairy tales. See how things could have turned out… and be ready for some happily-ever-after laughter! Recommended for all ages!
