Thanksgiving Crafts are the Best!

Whether propped on a bookshelf, desk, buffet table or dining room table, kids’ crafts just add such a delightful touch to the household.  I, personally, find so much more meaningful the seasonal handmade kids gifts than anything store-bought.  The following are some fun Thanksgiving crafts that we are going to make this year…. that is unless the kids come home with enough keepsakes to satisfy their mom’s itch!

How about a place card?  Kit Bennett of ParentsClub.GanzWorld.com shares how to make a candy-filled turkey place card holder.  Is this not just adorable?

I found at at www.parents.com a super cool centerpiece. Kids write what they are thankful for on a paper feather, then stick it into this adorable turkey centerpiece.

Refresh your memory and check out how to make a traditional pine cone turkey at Kaboose.com.  I need to have the kids make at least one of those!

Michelle, the awesome San Diego mama MuffinTinMom.com has an awesome craft (photo above) she calls “Gumdrop Apple Turkeys for the Table.”  I’ll bet if you searched through your Halloween stash you would be set!

Enjoy and please share your holiday crafts, too!!
