Positively Kids Promotes Positivity in Children

This blog post is brought to you/written by by Positively Kids. a company devoted to creating entertaining and educational tools that promote positivity in children (See theri upcoming event below).

This year for Valentine’s Day, why not do something a little bit different?  Forget about the flowers, the candy, etc.  Why not really show your Valentines how much you LOVE them? I mean really love them! Why not even fall in love all over again?   How can you do that?

Well, there are two weeks left before Valentines Day.   Here is what you do …

Every day for the next 2 weeks, why not write down one special, or sweet, or kind, or something you love about your significant other. It could be something special they did that day for someone or something totally unrelated to you.  Or it could be a personality trait, that you think is really cool and it just happens to come out and shine on the day that you are looking for something good.

Each day write down one good thing about them, and by the end of the second week of “good finding days,” you will have something really special you can present to your significant other.

What a wonderful way to bring out the optimism in your relationship.  When you are looking for good, you find good.

This reminds me of something I posted the other day, that got a huge response: “Instead of focusing on what went wrong today, focus on what went right!”

You may be asking why am I posting this since we are a company that promotes positivity in children.  But I will tell you why!  When you take care of yourself and your relationships, this always translates over to your kids. Plus it will bring optimism into your family.  More often then not we can tend to focus on what we aren’t getting vs. what we are getting, and this is a great exercise that will get you look for the positive vs. the negative.  The more you can trick your mind to do this, the better results you will have. This is not only going to be a great gift for your significant other, but for yourself too.

If you don’t have a signifcant other, you can still do this!  You can do this project with your kids too. You can do it for your friends, your parents, or frankly whomever you want. Just write down one amazing thing they did each day, or something you love about them, etc.  And present it to them in 2 weeks. Let’s call it the fun optimism LOVE project.

So go for it,  Find the good,  be a GOOD finder !!
