Save More With Price Match Guarantee Programs

save money shoppingSome of the most frequented stores we shop at have have valuable savings programs worth looking into. Stores such as Staples, Office Depot, PLUS Target, Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid are great to scope out for such offers, which can really come in handy during this back-to-school season.

Price match policies can differ from store to store.  To get the lower price you will need to compare merchandise offered in the same unit type (lb. for lb.), and you would be smart to have the ad showing the lower price on your person. It also likely needs to be a product identical to the ad (size, quantity, brand, flavor, color, etc.). Some stores will refuse to honor an online price, matching only the in-store prices of local competitors; others require different levels of proof.

Some have Price Match Guarantee programs, but others offer other great opportunities to save.  It is worth looking into!

BEST BUY  will match the price according to their Best Buy Price Match Guarantee if you find a lower price on an identical available product at a local retail competitor’s store, a local Best Buy retail store or BestBuy.com. Let them know either when you are making your purchase or during the return and exchange period.    

CVS does price match, however they run some of the best sales and when combining coupons, you can do really well. Check out the “CVS Coupon POLICY”.  Be sure to check out their Savings and Rewards program, and earn money back from the store.

DOLLAR TREE do not price match, but the stores now accept manufacture coupons. Keep in mind that all Dollar Tree stores carry different products, depending on the store. Only original and intact manufacturers’ coupons will be accepted. Retailer-specific coupons will not be accepted.  Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.

FRY’S Electronics will be happy to match the competition’s delivered price if you see a lower current price at a local authorized competitor in-stock, or from an authorized Internet competitor ready to ship. Also, if within 30 days of purchasing an item from a Fry’s Electronics store you see a lower current price at a local authorized competitor in-stock, or from an authorized Internet competitor ready to ship, Fry’s will refund 110% of the difference.

OFFICE DEPOT has a program called the “Price Match Policy”.  If you find a lower price at another store on a new, identical item, show them the lower price at the time of purchase and they will match it on the spot.  Show them the lower price within 14 days of your Office Depot purchase and they will pay you the difference.

RITE AID does price match, but it can vary from store to store. Read “Rite Aid Coupon Policy”. They have the Wellness Rewards Card, too, and you to earn points when you shop and receive savings throughout the store.  Click here for an application on line (FREE).

STAPLES program is referred to as “Staple Price Match Guarantee”. If you find a lower price, anywhere else on a new identical item, just show them the lower price when you buy the item at Staples or within 14 days of your Staples purchase — and they’ll give you the difference.  They are awesome when it comes to great loss leaders, so check for those on the circulars during the back-to-school season, nd other big promotional times.

TARGET has what they call ” Our Low Price Promise”.  If you find an item in a competitor’s printed ad that is priced lower than it is at your Target store, they will match the price. The competitor’s ad must be local and current, and the product must be the identical item, brand name, quantity and model number. Within seven days of purchase, take in your Target receipt and the competitor ‘s current printed ad, and they will reimburse the savings to you.

WALGREENS accepts no price matching or competitor coupons, however what you can do is find great sales and combine them with coupons.  Read their “Coupon Policy”.

WALMART has “Our Ad Match Guarantee” and shares that they are committed to providing low prices every day, on everything. So if you find a lower advertised price on an identical product, tell tem and they’ll match it at the register (even BOGO specials that share specific prices).

Sometimes I am glad Costco makes things so simple!  Even they have coupons, but usually will catch you buying something and pull out the store coupon for you.  Sometimes, life is just easier that way! :)
