Earth Day might have already passed, but we’re still celebrating into the weekend with the 25th annual Earth Fair at Balboa Park! Enjoy entertainment, presentations, a Children’s Activity Area (with face painting, crafts, and storytelling), a special art gallery, and much more! There will also be a Children’s Earth Parade through the park, and participants are encouraged to dress up as endangered species!
All weekend, visit the Birch Aquarium to learn how the arrival of Spring affects wildlife and the sea, make crafts, and participate in an underwater egg hunt! Plus, Saturday the aquarium hosts their monthly SEA Days, this time focusing on the world’s oceans. Kids can participate in hands-on activities and scientific exploration – and it’s free with museum admission!
