Frugally Fashionable in San Diego for Under Fifty

Having lived in LA, I was convinced that Julia Scott, aka Bargain Babe, in our Dress to Impress for Under Fifty Dollars Challenge, would have an advantage….after all she lives in LA! Well, with a budget of $50 or under, I think we ladies in San Diego faired pretty well in our hunt! We even added shoes to the mix and showed that a mama can “clean up pretty well” on a budget!

Hi it’s me, Virginia, from The Frugalicious Mommy. Above is my Frugal maternity outfit My husband is currently deployed & will be coming home in a few weeks. This outfit is actually the outfit I’m going to wear to his homecoming!

The dress is from Motherhood Maternity. My friend was going to throw it out. but luckily I was there to save it!!!! My necklace is a mommy necklace w/the names of my kids. I actually won this necklace from a blog giveaway. Oh, and my adorable shoes are from Payless! So here is the breakdown:

If we want to include makeup…I got my makeup for FREE at CVS using my bonus bucks!

Ruffled Skirt: Sparkle Me Plentry in Oceanside, brand new w/tag: $19.99 (plus 15% off special) - $16.99
Leather Shoes: Salvation Army (new) – $2.50 (1/2-off day)

TOTAL: $24.56
